Coachella Movies in the Park Series  Through July 13

Free Summer Kid Movie Series   Through Aug. 3
Thanks to Councilmember John Aguilar who donated a generous portion of his City discretionary funds, the film series will allow free admission in order to see a different movie geared towards kids each Friday morning.

International Aviation Art and Aerospace Exhibition   Through Aug. 9

Coachella Carnival and Fireworks   July 1
What could be more patriotic than fireworks on Independence Day? How about fireworks and a carnival? Bring the whole family out to Bagdouma Park to play games, listen to live music, entertain the kids with carnival rides, and sample food from various vendors.

Indio Fireworks   July 3
Be sure to show up early if you want to get a comfortable spot for this fireworks display. All ages are welcome. The pyrotechnics will blast off from the Eagle Falls Golf Course. Bring blankets and folding chairs and gather around the Eagle Falls Pro Shop and surrounding parking lot to enjoy the show.

All American Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular and Power Baseball   July 4
FREE admission to the fireworks show. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, blankets or chairs to enjoy the fireworks show.

Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration   July 4
Grab a blanket or chair to sit on, and pack a picnic dinner to enjoy or enjoy one of the many food vendors before the festivities start. The evening kicks off on a patriotic note at 7:15 with the National Anthem, followed by a concert by the Swing Cats Big Band. At 9pm, the nighttime sky lights up with a spectacular 25-minute-long fireworks show accompanied by patriotic and contemporary music.

4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Over the Pool   July 4
Family-friendly music, games and a large inflatable slide into the pool. Enjoy the fireworks show while relaxing in the pool. $2.00 for children (4-12) years of age and $6.00 for adults. Pre-purchase adult tickets for $5.00 at the Leisure Center.

Independence Day Party! Benefiting AAP – Food Samaritans   July 4

Dive-In Movies   July 6
Featuring Disney’s animated hit, “Moana”. Here will be snacks available at the concessions stand, and access to select pool areas. Tickets are $4 per person, with no charge for children under 2. Guests are encouraged to bring towels to lie out on the grass areas; no outside furniture, food or beverages are not allowed (except bottled water in plastic containers).
