Stop by the La Quinta Public Library booth (8 a.m. to 11 a.m.) for a free book and join story time.Story time with Ms. Sarah includes a great mix of stories, song and movement and is intended for toddlers and elementary school age children.  Ms. Sarah will introduce and teach kids about all the hard work that goes into Farmers' Market - like reading about dairy farms, animals, farming equipment, healthy living and cooking, agriculture and more. It's 30 minutes of playing with bubbles, reading both fun and educational stories and works of nonfiction, singing classics like Old McDonald Had A Farm and closing with a few games and a big parachute. For the month of October, the books will all have a pumpkin theme.
