Temperatures are expected to be over 100 degrees all throughout August. Make sure you're using at least a SPF 30 sunscreen all month to keep your skin safe from the heat and UV rays.
The La Quinta Wellness Center 1 Mile Treadmill Competition - Sept 12-17
Participants can join the one mile competition to challenge yourself or others to see how fast you can run or walk a mile on the Wellness Center treadmills. There will be a sign up sheet for each age group, ranging from 14 years old to 80 years and up. We will have a sign in sheet for a walking category and running category.
Nothing says Southern California like taking a dip and it's a great way to cool off during the hot summer months. Make sure to keep your sunscreen on to protect your skin while chilling in the pool.
